About Jocelyn
I am a Registered Psychology Associate who practices under the license and supervision of Dr. Alison Miller. I am also a current doctoral student pursuing my Psy.D. at Loyola University Maryland, where I completed my undergraduate work and received my Masters degree in Clinical Psychology. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, with myriad presentations, concerns, and identities. My experience includes individuals experiencing body image distress, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, autism, and depression. I also work with families to address behavior regulation concerns and parent education. I have provided therapeutic services in a variety of settings, including residential treatment, outpatient clinics, and schools.
Jocelyn's Therapeutic Approach
I often use cognitive behavioral techniques including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) in my work. I believe strongly that the family unit is essential to both understanding my client’s functioning and implementing therapy techniques in their life. This approach includes developing a deep understanding and appreciation for the client’s cultural background. I strive to create a trusting, empathetic, and brave space where clients can approach their challenges with confidence and support!
